Welcome! I am Dr. Esthermari González Polanco, a Board Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I pursued my medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico and completed my Pediatric Residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami. I further specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology with a fellowship at the University of Virginia, where I was trained in general gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. Throughout my training, I was exposed to a wide variety of pathologies and high complexity cases, which enriched my expertise and prepared me to provide top-notch care. My primary goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients by offering high-quality, personalized care and fostering improved communication between providers and patients. I am dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the attention and treatment they deserve.
